The design of bangle in the world is not very complicated instead they are simply circular in shape and unlike bracelets they are not flexible and made mostly of glass so they are a little sensitive. The word is taken from Hindi language Bungri meaning Glass. Bangles can be made according to your own liking and your social status either of precious materials like gold, silver or platinum or they can be made from non precious materials like wood, glass, steel or plastic etc. Bangles made from seashells are commonly worn by women mostly married in Bangladesh. There is a type of special bangle worn by only Bengali women and girls Known as Bengali Bangle. It is made by fixing a thin gold strip of 1 to 3 grams onto a bronze bangle by heating and then on this gold strip crafting is done manually.
